Doriana Cimmino is research fellow (RTDA) at Salerno University. Her research mainly focuses on linguistic phenomena at the interface between syntax, semantics and pragmatics, in spoken and written Italian and English. In particular, she investigated topicalizations, framing adverbs and adversative discourse markers, looking at the interaction between information structure and the semantico-pragmatic architecture of texts. She collaborates to the IMPAQTS project and the OPPP! Observatory, working on annotation of political speeches.
